The Kim Paine Q&A

Hi Kim.

Tell us about your role at Seaview.

I’m the Entertainments Manager, so I’m responsible for planning and delivering a fun filled and exciting entertainments programme which we hope will delight every guest so they want to come back and stay with us again.

What’s your favourite thing about Seaview?

There are so many things I love about this park. I’m part of a brilliant team, but the one thing I would say I love most are the incredible views. There is never a day when I get tired of looking out to the ocean or across the countryside, and it’s a constant reminder of how lucky we are and always puts a smile on my face.

What’s the one word you would use to describe yourself?

What’s coming up in the entertainment this year that you are most excited about?

I couldn’t possibly highlight one act that I am most excited about this year as the upcoming entertainment is packed full of variety with something for everyone.

What’s new for the season ahead?

There are so many new acts joining us for the season and we have everything from UV puppet shows to nights filled to side splitting laughter from superb comedians to the drama of 4th Generation Wrestling.

We also have lots of new activities in the morning kid’s club, including a Nutty Professor’s Science Club and a Creative Kitchen. Our favourite Meerkat Sandy is also bringing his own interactive live show to the park for the first time.

Who would be your dream act at Seaview?

I was lucky enough to take my Mum to see Bon Jovi at the 02 Arena and it was the best concert I’ve seen by far . I would definitely love to see him again.

What do you love most about Cornwall?

You can’t beat a good Cornish pasty and I’m lucky enough to have a Nan that cooks the best (in my opinion)!!

When you’ve got the day off, how do you like to relax?

As I live in Cornwall it’s always great to visit my family. Last year I also enjoyed doing the coastal walk to Looe and taking in the amazing scenery en route. But I’m also very happy to just go for a nice meal out or simply stay in with a good film.

If you could recommend one must-visit place in Cornwall, where would it be?

Seaview Holiday Village of course!!! There are loads of beautiful places in Cornwall, I really like Perranporth beach.

Thanks Kim, have a great 2017.

Thank you, my pleasure!
