Here at Our Cornwall holiday park, we are lucky enough to be surrounded by plenty of dog friendly beaches in Looe. Don’t let your pooch miss out on all the fun! The beach is the pawfect place to stretch those legs and get some sand between your toes… or Paws.
This wide, sheltered beach is dog friendly all year! At low tide you can walk the long, narrow stretch of sand all the way to Seaton making it a great place for some fetch. But check the tide times! It’s easy to get caught out by the rising tide when making your way through the rocky outcrops. Grab a bit to eat with your pup at the Inn on the Shore which is right on the beach!
This quiet, south facing beach stretches from Hannafore point to the outskirts of Looe. The shingle beach is home to an extensive reef with some amazing rockpools which are revealed at low tide. With dogs allowed all year round this beach is popular with dog walkers, the perfect op-paw-tunity to make some friends.
Kingsand beach is a charming, sand and shingle beach which backs right onto the village which is home to plenty of pubs and great facilities! The dog friendly beach in Looe overlooks Plymouth sound with fantastic views on the ships coming and going.
The quiet, attractive beach is just a few miles west of Polperro. With a small waterfall on the western side of the beach which is used to power a small mill. The 20-minute walk down to the beach with activity points for children along the way makes for a great adventure for the whole family to enjoy. The beach’s location means it is rarely crowded; a great place to bring your dog on your holiday in Cornwall.
This dog friendly beach is one of Cornwall’s best kept secrets. Lantic Bay is a quiet, sheltered bay, made up of gorgeous white sand and turquoise sea. The beach is split into two at high tide: Little Lantic and Great Lantic Beach so be careful not to get cut off by the rising tide! This beach isn’t one that you stumble upon given its remote location, but once found it won’t be easily forgotten.
Located at the foot of the Hessenford valley. The Seaton river meanders across the beach on the Cornish coast, a great focal point for children to safely play in. The water is safe to swim in and the beach is generally very well sheltered from both waves and wind. Either end of the beach is bordered by flat rocks, home to a number of rock pools. With disabled access, children’s play area behind the beach, large café, shop and toilets, this beach is great for everyone.
