The Black Prince Flower Boat May Day Procession, May 6: This historic event starts in Millbrook at circa 10am and the procession winds its way around Millbrook and then on to Kingsand and Cawsand. A traditional May Day festival to banish winter and welcome in the spring and summer – with hope for a fruitful harvest from land and sea.
Fowey Festival of Art & Literature, May 11-18: Exciting programme includes talks, interviews, creative and practical workshops, exhibitions, presentations, theatre, musical concerts, an Art trail, guided walks and river cruises to enjoy, inform, challenge and inspire the imagination.
Royal Cornwall Show, June 6-8: Cornwall’s showcase since 1793 and a fascinating glimpse into rural life. Apart from the livestock judging, there is the famous flower tent, show jumping and a fast and furious inter-hunt relay.
Saltash Regatta, June 22: Saltash Regatta is one of the most colourful waterside festivals in South East Cornwall. You will find gig rowing events as well as entertainment on the shore.
