Cornwall is topping the charts again for being the top UK destination for holidaymakers from the UK and abroad; the perfect staycation in Cornwall.
Here at Seaview, we know that caravan holidays in Cornwall are always popular but now, according to research carried out by property lender Cambridge & Counties Bank, the majority (72%) of UK nationals expect to see an increase in holidaymakers taking domestic, UK-based holidays in 2020.
The most common reasons given for the increase in staycations was a drop in the value of the pound caused by Brexit making foreign holidays more expensive (cited by 67%) and a rise in the underlying costs of overseas travel (51%).
Cornwall topped the list of UK destinations that people think will see the greatest rise in UK staycations over the next three years, according to the research (cited by 51%).
Knowing Cornwall as we do, we can’t say that we are surprised! So if you are thinking of a staycation, here are our top ten reasons to choose Cornwall in 2020.
